STEADY BEAT RHYTHM BACKING TRACKS in DUPLE METER

Duple Meter = two beats per measure

STEADY BEAT Rhythm Backing Tracks in Duple Meter

This simple pattern uses only beat-value notes, consistently and evenly the entire time (and no rests). The count is “1, 2" with the kick drum on the one and the hi-hat cymbal on the two.

The same drum pattern is performed at seven different tempos. Any rhythm has a different feel depending on how fast it is played, even though the pattern remains precisely the same. This series offers you the chance to practice at many tempos.

  • The tempos played are in ten-click increments from 60bpm (one second per beat) up to 120bpm (half a second per beat).
  • Follow the on-screen graphics, the visual helps build your understanding of the pattern.
  • Count In: Every track features a count in with voice and a drum hit. This helps you to be very clear about the beginning and the count. Getting the number right matters.
