STEADY BEAT Rhythm Backing Tracks in
Quadruple Meter
This simple pattern uses only beat-value notes, consistently and evenly the entire time (and no rests). The count is “1, 2, 3, 4" with the kick drum on the one and the ride cymbal on all four beats.
The same drum pattern is performed at seven different tempos. Any rhythm has a different feel depending on how fast it is played, even though the pattern remains precisely the same. This series offers you the chance to practice at many tempos.
- The tempos played are in ten-click increments from 60bpm (one second per beat) up to 120bpm (half a second per beat).
- Follow the in-video graphics, the visual helps build your understanding of the pattern
- Count In: Every track features a count in with voice and drum hits. This helps you to be very clear about the beginning and the count. Getting the number right matters.
